Social Innovation Project [LC8062]

For the three weeks of the lesson, we were given time to confirm our project statement and learn about SPICE, POEMS and observation and interviewing skills. When we first received the project brief, the first challenge that caught my attention was families in distress and the project statement “How can we help parents or children in Singapore to deepen their bonds?”. This caught my attention as I have many friends around me that have parents who are separated therefore, I suggested it to my team, and we finalized our project statement through the empathy study plan.

My contributions to this project were designing the posters and the presentation slides along with ideation. I also took part in interviewing some of my friends for data collection for this project. The main aim of this module was to create an event for awareness of our project statement.
