Internship at Singapore Green Building Council

During my internship at SGBC, I was immersed in the operational aspects of sustainability within the built environment sector. I had the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects like the Indoor Air 2026 conference, where I gained valuable experience in event management, stakeholder coordination, and communication strategies. This experience allowed me to apply the theoretical sustainability concepts I had learned at school, particularly in relation to green building certifications and indoor environmental quality, in a real-world context. By working closely with various teams, from academic institutions to industry professionals, I developed my skills in managing complex tasks, organising data, and ensuring smooth event execution. Overall, my time at SGBC deepened my understanding of sustainability practices, while further fueling my passion for the field and solidifying my desire to contribute to the industry's growth.
