This elective module taught me the marketing environment and digital landscape within a marketing mix strategy & communications framework. I discovered omni-channel marketing and marketing communications, emphasising emerging tools such as content marketing, user journey mapping, online public relations & digital campaign reporting to enhance customer lifecycles within a full marketing communications strategy.
For this module, we choose the famous food chain Subway as our topic for a company analysis project on vegetarian fast food chain options in the market. The aim of the project was to market a product from the chosen company and analyse the interactions on social media platforms. The main parts of the project that I contributed were the design and posting on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
